Feature Access: Tenant Dashboard, Institution Admin, and Boost Dashboard

Feature accesses allow for greater configurability and can be enabled at the tenant, course, or branch/institution level depending on the feature. These features can be turned on/off within Console or Tenant Dashboard, while some can only be toggled by BenchPrep Admins.
 

Below please find Feature accesses related to the Tenant Dashboard, Institution Admin, and Boost Dashboard. 
 

Features can be controlled via Tenant Dashboard, Console, and BluePrint. Note that your selections will save and take effect immediately and will update respective admin tool automatically (if a feature access can be controlled in Tenant Dashboard and Console, turning it on via Tenant Dashboard will update its status in Console).

Tenant Dashboard

Allows Tenant Admins to Manage Web Conferencing
Description: When enabled, tenant admins are allowed to create events within the tenant. When off, BenchPrep admins are the only individuals able to manage events. Default State: OFF
Requirements: N/A

 

 

Configuration Level(s): Enabled at the tenant level.
How to Configure: Configurable by BenchPrep Admins only. Contact support for assistance.

 

 

Automatically Sets Full-Access to True When a Division or District Supervisor Role is Added
Description: When enabled, full access to user reporting in Boost Dashboard is provided to those with supervisor roles. When not enabled, division and district supervisors will not see reporting at the user level–only at aggregate levels. Default State: OFF
Requirements: BenchPrep's B2B tools must be in use.

 

Configuration Level(s): Enabled at the tenant level.

Institution Admin

Create Users in Institution Admin Without Passwords
Description: Admin users can create new users without generating a password. If the password line is left blank when generating a new user, an activation email will be sent to the user to have them generate the password themselves. Default State: OFF
Requirements: The "Institution Admin" feature must be enabled.

 

 

Configuration Level(s): Enabled at the tenant and course level.

Boost Dashboard

Curriculum Creation
Description: When enabled, instructors/admins are allowed to create custom Study Plans within the Boost Dashboard out of the existing Study Tasks in the course’s Structured Study Plan. The curriculum appears in the Study Plan section of the learner’s course. Default State: Tenant - OFF, Course - OFF, Branch/Institution - ON
Requirements: BenchPrep's B2B tools and the Study Plan section in WebApp must be in use.

Message Center in Boost Dashboard
Description: Instructors can send in-app messages and banner messages to learners via Boost Dashboard. Learners view these messages in the Notification Center in WebApp. Default State: OFF
Requirements: N/A

 

Configuration Level(s): Enabled at the tenant and institution/branch level.
How to Configure:
Tenant level: Configurable by Tenant Admins from Tenant Dashboard or by Admins or users with "Update Tenant" permission from Console.
Institution/Branch level: Configurable by Tenant Admins from Tenant Dashboard or by Admins or users with "Read Branches" and "Update Branches" permissions from Console.

Enable Custom Exam Report Export
Description: This feature allows users to export reports from the Test Reports section of the Real-time Reports in Boost Dashboard. Default State: OFF
Requirements: The Real-time Reports features must be enabled.

 

Configuration Level(s): Enabled at the tenant level.

How to Configure:

Tenant level: Configurable by Tenant Admins from Tenant Dashboard or by Admins or users with "Update Tenant" permission from Console.

 

 

Enable Student Listing Page in Boost and enable Instructor Exam Reset Control
Description: If turned on, Instructors have access to the Student Listing page in Boost and can control the number of times a learner is able to reset an individual exam via this page. Default State: OFF
Requirements: Courses in use must have at least one test.

 

Configuration Level(s): Enabled at the tenant and institution/branch level.
How to Configure:
Tenant level: Configurable by Tenant Admins from Tenant Dashboard or by Admins or users with "Update Tenant" permission from Console.
Institution/Branch level: Configurable by Tenant Admins from Tenant Dashboard or by Admins or users with "Read Branches" and "Update Branches" permissions from Console.

 

 

 

Hide Deactivated Users
Description: When enabled, deactivated users will be excluded from Student and Real time Reports in Boost, and from Curriculums in Boost and Blueprint (if Curriculums functionality is used).

Requirements: N/A
