How do I turn Learning Hub on?
Toggle the Enable general access to Learning Hub Feature Access ON in the Tenant Dashboard or Console.
Turning the feature on via Tenant Dashboard:
Users with the tenant admin role can access the feature access via the Manage Features Section.

Turning the feature on via Console:
Users with the admin role or any custom role with the update:feature_accesses permission can access the feature access via Settings > Feature Access.

 

How do I turn the Learning Hub Browse page on? 

Toggle Enable the Browse page in Learning Hub ON at the Tenant level via the Tenant Dashboard. Additionally, you can toggle the feature at the Institution level as well, to control which Institution should have access to the Browse page in Learning Hub.

 

How do I turn on Expired Courses tab on?
Toggle the Show Expired Courses Tab in Learning Hub Feature Access ON in the Tenant Dashboard or Console.

Is Learning Hub available on mobile?
Yes, Learning Hub is mobile responsive.
 

Can Learning Hub be utilized to enable content discovery for individuals who do not have an account?
Currently, Learning Hub is not publicly accessible. A BenchPrep account is necessary to view Learning Hub and utilize the Browse page.  However, a user can have an active BenchPrep account without having access to a course - please note that, depending upon the terms of your agreement, these individuals may count as users. Reach out to your Customer Success Manager for more information.


Browse Page and Purchase type configuration tips

How do I ensure a course that isn’t ready to be used yet or shouldn’t be publicly advertised is not visible in the Learning Hub Browse page?

  1. In Console, navigate to Learning > Courses section.
  2. Locate the Course you would like to configure.
  3. Select the Configuration section.
  4. Toggle the Display In Browse setting to OFF.
  5. Click Save.
     

How do I configure a course that I want to offer for free?

  1. In Console, navigate to Learning > Courses section.
  2. Locate the Course you would like to configure.
  3. Select the Configuration section.
  4. Select Purchase Type setting to Display as Free.
  5. Click Save
     

How do I configure a course I want users to buy in an external location?

  1. In Console, navigate to Learning > Courses section.
  2. Locate the Course you would like to configure.
  3. Select the Configuration section.
  4. Toggle the Purchase Type setting to Display with External Link and include the link in the purchase location section.
  5. Click Save.

 

Setting up a Free BenchPrep Course or Asset-Based Course 

  1. Go to BluePrint.
  2. Select the New Course button.
  3. Select appropriate Course Type (BenchPrep Course or Asset-Based course).
  4. Enter a course description and upload a course image to be displayed in Learning Hub (the image is optional, but recommended).
  5. Select Publish when done configuring the course.
  6. Go to Console.
  7. Locate your Course (Learning > Courses).
  8. Set the Purchase Type to Display as Free
  9. Toggle Display on Browse to On when ready.
  10. Click Save


Setting up a Paid BenchPrep Course or Asset-Based Course 

  1. Go to BluePrint.
  2. Select the New Course button.
  3. Select the appropriate Course Type (BenchPrep Course or Asset-Based course).
  4. Enter a course description and upload a course image to be displayed in Learning Hub (the image is optional, but recommended).
  5. Select Publish when done configuring the course.
  6. Go to Console.
  7. Locate your Course (Learning > Courses).
  8. Set Purchase Type to Display with External Link
  9. Add the External Link for purchase location.
  10. Toggle Display on Browse to On when ready.
  11. Click Save.
