Structure Validation

The bigger your course gets, the harder it can be to keep track of all of your content. That's why we've created the Structure Validation tool, so you can take a bird's-eye view of everything in your course to make sure nothing has been left out.

What is Structure Validation?

Structure Validation is a tool that clearly displays all of your content that isn't yet connected to other content. This includes any study content that might not be in Study Tasks, any Passages that haven't yet been connected to Questions, duplicate flashcards, and more. The Structure Validation tool is best used as a final check before publishing a course, to make sure nothing has been accidentally left out.

Note that it is possible the tool will call out missed connections you haven't planned on connecting; perhaps you purposely included duplicate Flashcards, for example. In that case, you are free to ignore it! It will not prevent you from publishing your course.

How to Use Structure Validation

  1. Select Structure Validation on the left navigation bar.
  2. Observe any inconsistencies displayed within the Structure Navigation tool.
  3. If necessary, click the displayed links to jump to the content that needs adjusting.
