The Staging Environment is a helpful tool for testing, triaging issues and exploring BenchPrep's features before deploying changes to live courses. Here are the key benefits:

• Troubleshoot Issues: If you encounter any issues with features or content, the staging environment allows you to troubleshoot and resolve them in a safe, non-production space.

• Test Functionality: Use the staging environment to test new and existing features and configurations.  This helps ensure that everything works as expected.

• Scheduled Refreshes: The staging environment is typically refreshed every Tuesday following the latest deployment. This means you’ll always have the most up-to-date version of the environment to work with.  Refer to the deploy schedule here and click here for the most current timing and schedule of staging refreshes. 
   

Accessing Staging environment 

To access the staging environment, use the following URL:
 TENANT_SLUG.staging.benchprep.com/login

Your login credentials for the staging environment should be the same as those used for the production environment.

Considerations
 

While the staging environment is updated regularly, please remember that it is not an exact replica of the production environment. There may be certain features or functions that behave slightly differently, and some parts of staging may not be as stable as the live version. Remember that any changes made in the staging environment will be removed with the next scheduled refresh. 
 

• Images and videos might not render correctly 
• Emails will not be delivered
• Some 3rd party integrations may need to be or reconfigured to work properly
