print icon

The Test Report dashboard displays the test attempt details for users within your scope. You can filter the test details to focus on course(s), user(s), test(s),and by setting a date range.  You can also combine these filters to view multiple courses, users, or tests.  By default, the report displays the last 31 days of test data.

In order to enable the Test Report dashboard the "Enable Test Reports Dashboard in Console Analytics" feature access needs to be turned ON.  The feature access is controllable at Tenant and Branch Level and is OFF by default. Once enabled, Console Admins and users with with a custom role 'read:test_reports' permissions will see this dashboard.

Once the feature access is enabled, users with a Console Admin role can view all Test Data for all users in the platform.  Users with a custom role with the "Read Test Reports'' permission will have access to the Testing Dashboard, scoped to the level the role is assigned at.

The right-hand side of the page displays a list of available Filters.  The Filters allow you to precisely isolate and analyze relevant information for customized insights.

The following filters are available in the Test Reporting Dashboard:

  • User Name
  • User Email
  • User ID
  • Course Name
  • Test Name
  • Test Attempt State
  • Test Attempt Date

Viewing Test Report Dashboard

  1. Open Console and select Analytics, then select Test Reports
  2. To view Test Reports across all users within a Tenant, select  All Groups and click Search. Alternatively, select one or multiple specific groups to view reports for those particular groups, click Save and then click Search.

The Test Reports Dashboard will display the following information in a pivot table for the group or groups that were selected.  Keep in mind you can scope the data presented by using filters available on the right-hand side.  The table displays the following columns within the dashboard:

  • User name
  • User Email
  • User SIS ID
  • Branch Name - Name of branch, if applicable
  • Course - Name of course the test is in
  • Test - Name of the test
  • Attempted At (UTC) - Time test was taken in UTC
  • Number of test attempts display within the Attempted At (UTC) column
  • Test Result Score - Displays the scores for all test attempts
  • Predicted Scoring Category - Displays the name of each Predicted Score category in the course.
  • Predicted Scoring - Predicted Scoring is not enabled by default, and requires assistance from the BenchPrep.Predicted scoring is an estimate of a person's likely performance on an actual exam, derived from their results on a practice exam. It forecasts the score or outcome (e.g.,pass/fail or a specific score range) a user might achieve, based on their strengths and weaknesses demonstrated during the practice test. In some cases, predicted scores are also broken down by specific categories, such as reading or math, to give a more detailed prediction of performance in those areas.
