3. Using Curriculums within a Course
print icon

Learners can view curriculums they have been assigned to by following these steps:

  1. Log into the Learning Application and access the applicable course.
  2. Navigate to the Study Plan section.
  3. The Structured Plan will be listed first by default, with the Curriculum listed second. Click on the Curriculum tab to view and start the curriculum. The page will show the curriculum name, who assigned it, the overall curriculum progress, description (if provided), the Last Updated date, and all of the Study Tasks with Release and Completion dates (if set) as well as knowledge points each task is worth.

If more than one curriculum is assigned, clicking on the Curriculum tab displays a curriculum list. Click on the curriculum you would like to review.

The Set as my primary plan option allows you to choose what you want to be displayed on the Study Task and Home pages by default. For example, if Curriculum is set as a primary plan, the Curriculum will be displayed when selecting the Study Plan tab and on the Home maskhead.

Additional Curriculum Configurations

You can configure how curriculums are displayed within the learning applications via two additional feature accesses, togglable at tenant and branch levels. To learn more click here.

Set Curriculum Plan as Default for Learners with Curriculums Assigned feature access removes the ability for learners to select structured or adaptive plan as a primary plan. When the feature is enabled:

  • Curriculum tab will be listed first
  • If multiple curriculums are assigned, the first curriculum will be set as a primary plan by default
    • Learners can still choose which curriculum they want as primary via Set as Primary plan button
  • When clicking on the Study Plan tab, learners will be brought to the curriculum
  • When clicking on the Home tab, learners will be brought to the curriculum
  • Learners can still navigate to the structured study plan or adaptive study plan (if set)

Set Curriculum as the only Available Plan for Learners with Curriculums Assigned feature access hides all plans from learners and only displays the Curriculum. When the feature is enabled:

  • Curriculum tab will be the only tab visible
  • If multiple curriculums are assigned, the first curriculum will be set as a primary plan by default
    • Learners can still choose which curriculum they want as primary via Set as Primary plan button
  • When clicking on the Study Plan tab, learners will be brought to the curriculum
  • When clicking on the Home tab, learners will be brought to the curriculum

NOTE: When both feature accesses are enabled, the Set Curriculum as the only Available Plan for Learners with Curriculums Assigned feature will take precedence and Structured and Adaptive (if applicable) plans will be hidden all together.
