1. Intro to Branch Users

Using Console, you can set up and manage branches and users with varying levels of access.

Console admins (or a custom role with applicable permissions) can create and assign branch managers and members.

A branch manager is a user who has a custom role scoped to that branch. Branch managers are not members of the branches they manage, but, depending on their role’s permissions, they can create new branch members and groups, or assign roles to branch members.

A branch member is a user that has been added to a branch. Branch members do not have a custom role scoped to the branch they’re a member of, but it’s possible for them to be a branch manager for a separate branch.

The articles in this section will cover managing both branch members and branch managers.
