Feature Accesses (Course Settings)

Feature accesses are a group of platform features that can be turned on or off at different levels. Configuring feature accesses is a quick and simple way to customize your learning platform. Feature Accesses can be configured three ways:

  • Console

  • Tenant

  • BluePrint

  • BenchPrep Support Team

As you continue to learn more about each module within BluePrint, you will have an overview of feature accesses that align with each module. Each feature access will display where or how they need to be configured.

Pro-Tip

  • If a feature is controllable at the tenant level, that means that turning the feature on will enable it for all users, and turning it off will disable it for all users.

  • If a feature is controllable at the course level, turning it on will enable it for all users of that course, and turning it off will disable it for all users of that course.

  • If a feature is toggled in one tool it will effectively update in other tools (ie. turning a feature on via Tenant Dashboard will automatically update the status in Console).

Troubleshooting Tips:

  • If a feature is controllable at both the tenant and course levels, you must turn it on at the tenant level first in order to turn it on or off for individual courses.

  • If you turn it on at the course level without turning it on at the tenant level, the feature will not work for that course.

  • Some features have unique requirements you must meet to enable them. If you turn on one of these features without meeting those requirements, the feature will not work.
