As a cloud-hosted technology, BenchPrep requires an internet connection for users to take full advantage of our entire learning ecosystem. Many of BenchPrep’s features, however, can still be accessed by users when they are offline too. Learn more about how to use BenchPrep’s platform while offline.
Offline Experience via Web & Mobile Browser Requirement
Users must have an internet connection to:
- Login/connect to BenchPrep’s platform
- Load their desired course(s)
Once fully loaded, courses can be accessed offline and have user progress synced once an internet connection is established again.
NOTE: Refreshing pages or closing the browser window/tab interrupts the offline experience and requires users to reestablish an internet connection and login again using the same browser.
Offline Experience via Native Mobile & Tablet Applications (iOS or Android)
Users must have an internet connection to:
- Download the native application
- Login to the native application
- Load their course initially
Once fully loaded, courses can be accessed offline and have user progress synced once an internet connection is established again.
NOTE: Closing and re-opening the app or switching courses in the app interrupts the offline experience and requires users to reestablish an internet connection and login again using the same browser.
