Answer Explanation Options

Do you want your students to receive the correct answer to a question immediately after submitting their answer? Or would you prefer to wait until the entire test is taken before showing them the correct answers? BluePrint has you covered, with Answer Explanations Options. Let's take a look at how it works.

 

When creating or editing a test, the Answer Explanations Option appears toward the bottom of the settings page:

 

Here you can choose between the following options:

  • Show Answer Explanations Only After Test Completion - This is the standard option, which holds back all answer explanations until the learner has completed the entire test.
  • Show Answer Explanations After Each Question - This operates more like our Practice Questions settings, presenting learners with the answer content after each answer is submitted.
  • Allow Learners to Choose Experience - This will place a toggle switch on each test that allows the learner to turn this option on or off (it is set to "off" to begin). See the image below for an example:
