- How can I view the Replicate activity on a course?
Similar to the Activity Log, the Replicator Log allows you to view all replication activity by Source Content (e.g., Questions, Lessons, Exams, etc.).
The filter function on the Replicator Log has similar functionality as the filter in the Activity Log. To do so, click on View Filters, and then apply the specific filter criteria you're looking for. In the example below, we're looking for any instance where a particular Question was replicated:
- If my lessons are set to hide confidence levels and I replicate them, will the new replicated lessons also hide them?
Yes, the new replicated lessons will retain the same setting as the original lessons. So if you have a lesson where the "Hide Confidence Level" setting is set to true, the replicated lesson will also have this set to true.
- Can I replicate questions from a Side by Side course to a standard course?
Yes, it's possible to replicate Side by Side type questions to a standard course, however, the questions will be converted into standard type questions when doing so. This means that no answer rationales will be replicated over, as these are not used in standard type questions. To preserve all question and answer content, we recommend to only replicate questions from one course to another of the same type. To learn more about Side by Side questions, check out our article here.
- If I replicate questions that have standard tags assigned to them, will the tags also replicate over along with my question content?
Yes, questions with standard tags that are replicated will still have the same tags assigned to your new questions. For more information about standard tags, check out our article here.
- Can I replicate milestones from one course to another?
Milestones can be replicated only when using full course replication. Learn more about replicating a complete course here.
- If I replicate lessons that have embedded assets, such as videos, will those assets also replicate over?
Yes, any embedded assets in lessons will also replicate over. More information on how to embed an asset in a lesson can be found here.
