There are a number of downloadable data reports available in the Session Detail Reports section. The main Session Detail Reports page allows you to run three reports via a drop-down menu: Student Session Aggregate Reports, Individual Sessions, and Course Session Aggregate Reports. 

 

To run one of these reports, select the report from the drop-down and then select the Run button.

 

 

You will receive an email with a link to download the report as a CSV file after it’s finished processing. Note that if you filter the listing on this page, that filter will be applied to the downloaded reports as well. 

The Individual Sessions and Student Session Aggregate Reports are also available at the individual user level. To download these reports for a specific user’s session reports, select any of that user’s sessions from the session listing. The Course Details section on the next page includes the same drop-down menu as the main sessions listing. 

 

Student Session Aggregate Reports 

This report shows the total time, across all sessions, each student has spent in their course(s) and breaks down the time spent by the user in different areas of the platform. It includes the following data points per student: 

• ID
• Name 
• Institution 
• Groups
• Courses (listed as “content_packages”) 
• Total time spent in the course
• Total time spent in lessons 
• Total time spent in the Practice section
• Total time spent in the Tests section 
• Total time spent in the Search section 
• Total time spent idle (i.e. User has the platform open in their browser, but is using a different browser tab or application) 
• Number of tests completed 
   

Course Session Aggregate Reports 

This report shows the total time, across all sessions, spent by students in a particular course and breaks down the time spent by those users in different areas of the course. It includes the following data points per course: 

• Institution
• Course ID
• Course Name 
• Number of students enrolled in the course 
• Number of students who have performed at least one activity in the course (answering a question, marking a Confidence Level on a lesson, etc.) 
• Total time spent in this course by all students
• Total time spent in lessons 
• Total time spent in the Practice section
• Total time spent in the Tests section 
• Total time spent in the Search section 
• Total time spent idle (i.e. User has the platform open in their browser, but is using a different browser tab or application) 
• Number of tests completed 

 

Individual Sessions 

This report shows more detailed information about each of the individual sessions shown in the session listing. It includes the following data points per session: 

• Session ID
• User ID
• User name 
• Institution 
• Group
• Course
• Session start time
• Session end time 
• Session duration
• Time spent in the Tests section
• Time spent in the Notification Center inbox 
• Time spent in the Home section
• Time spent in the Practice section
• Time spent in the Lessons section
• Time spent reviewing reset reports 
• Time spent in the Study Plan section 
• Time spent in the Search section
• Time spent idle (i.e. User has the platform open in their browser, but is using a different browser tab or application) 
• The browser the user used to access the platform 
• Time spent reviewing achievements
• Time spent in the Discussions section 
• Time spent in the Flashcards section 
• Time spent in the Game Center 

 

Please note that these columns may appear even if not all of these sections or features appear in this course.
