Our offices will be closed from Tuesday, December 24th through Wednesday, January 1st. We will reopen on Thursday, January 2nd. During this time, we will continue to monitor and handle critical support items, but responses to most tickets and inquiries will likely be delayed.
Using Custom (External) IDs

BluePrint will give every question an internal ID, but if you have your own identifiers, you can use those IDs in BluePrint as well.  These identifiers are known as External IDs. External IDs do not need to be unique and typically use numbers, letters, and punctuation marks.  The External IDs are not visible to learners, only to you and your team.

Read our article on importing content to learn how to import your IDs. To do it manually, simply enter your ID into the External ID section:

When replicating questions the EID will be replicated as well, as the EID is also copied (replicated) during the process.

  • When a question with an EID is replicated from Course A to Course A the new question will inherit the same EID.
  • When a question with an EID is replicated from Course A to Course B the new question will interhit the same EID.
