To change the name of a category or delete a category follow these steps (NOTE: We will use a lesson category in the example below):

  1. In BluePrint, click on Lesson Outline.
  2. Click on the category’s name you wish to change, and a textbox will appear. Type in the new category name, and click on Save underneath.

NOTE: This save won’t save the category name — it allows you preview the name in the list.

  3. Click on Save at the bottom of the page.

  4. Alternatively, you can click on the pencil icon on the category row you wish to edit.
  5. To rename the category, enter the desired category name in the Name field.
  6. To delete the category, click on the Delete button in the upper-right corner.

If you are trying to delete a category that has content in it (like lessons or questions), you first need to either:

    • Move those content pieces into a different category, or

    • Delete those content pieces. Then, you can delete the category.
