- What happens if I delete a tag that is already assigned to content?
The associations for that tag will also be deleted. So any content that has the tag assigned will have that tag removed.
- If I replicate content that has tags assigned, will the tags also replicate over along with my content?
Yes, your new replicated content will retain any tags that have been assigned. For more information on replication, check out our section here.
- If I add or edit tags to content in a bank course and propagate, will content in my child courses also have their tags updated?
Yes, any updates to tags in a bank course will also be reflected in the child courses once those changes are propagated. More on propagation can be found in our article here.
- How can users utilize content tags?
- In both Practice and Tests, users can view a Tag Breakdown to understand their proficiency across study areas. This breakdown displays both parent and child tags that have questions assigned to them.
- Users can filter questions by tag in the Review All section for both Custom Practice and Category Practice
Note: Tags will only be visible to users in the platform if the Displayed in Course option is enabled.
- In Learning Hub, users can search for courses by tag and view detailed Learner Analytics with tag data.
Note: To be visible in Learning Hub, tags must have the Displayed in Learning Hub option enabled.
