1. Intro to AI-powered Question Generation

BenchPrep’s AI-powered question generation, powered by ChatGPT integration, allows content creators to effortlessly create diverse, accurate and reviewable questions from existing lessons directly via BluePrint, seamlessly integrating the process with BluePrint’s existing functionality.

In order to maximize the benefits of BenchPrep’s AI question generation, review the following requirements and current functionality highlights:

  • A course must leverage lessons; for best results, choose text-based lessons
  • Questions created from longer lessons will be generated with roughly the first 14,000 characters due to OpenAI’s token limitation
  • Creating multiple questions from the same lesson will not produce the same question
  • AI-generated questions will default to single answer, multiple choice questions
  • AI-generated questions will default to practice questions distribution
  • If the course uses questions categories, the created question will be assigned to an existing category based on the AI recommendation
    • The category assigned can be changed and is not required
  • Lessons with NO content will result in a randomly generated question

Once a question is generated, you have the flexibility to adjust any of its properties (such as question content, answer explanation content, selected answer choice, and question category) to customize it according to your requirements before saving.

OpenAI’s enterprise privacy commitment ensures that the content you leverage for question generation will not be utilized for its learning algorithms. As always, your information in our platform is always kept isolated.

If you are interested in exploring this functionality, reach out to your CSM to discuss whether this feature would fit your needs.
