User interface localization is currently available for the learning application (where learners access courses) and the Learning Hub. Localization of administrative tools (Console, Blueprint) is not available. This is an add-on feature, so reach out to your BenchPrep contact if you're interested in enabling user interface localization.
Changing Languages
When localization is enabled, the BenchPrep platform landing page will show which language is in use in the top header.
Before Logging In
To change the platform language before logging in to your account, follow these steps:
1. Select the display language shown in the header.
2. Select your desired language from the list, then select "Confirm."
3. The page will refresh and display in the selected language.
After Logging In
To change the platform language after logging in, follow these steps:
1. While viewing a course, select the person icon in the header.
2. Select the current display language that appears in the drop-down.
3. Select the language you want to use, then select "Confirm."
4. The page will reload and display in the selected language.
To change your display language in the Learning Hub, you'll select the current display language in the header, then follow the same steps.
Console, BluePrint, the Tenant Dashboard, Boost Dashboard, and Institution Admin will display in English even if you've selected another display language, but your selected display language will remain in use when you return to a course or the Learning Hub.
Locales
We have localized terms that you can customize through Console, such as "Practice Question" or "Study Plan," into all supported languages. If you are using custom locales, note that the localized (non-English) versions of these terms will not re-localize to fit your custom locales more closely.
