Your course admin might choose to embed a variety of content types like videos, PDFs, or interactive images.
Here is an uploaded video, without closed captioning. What you first see is the thumbnail that was created for the video or, in this case, simply the beginning of the video. The video toolbar includes:
- Play button
- Progress bar
- Volume meter
- Full screen mode
- Playback speed
BenchPrep supports materials like csv (comma-separated values), doc, docx, key, pdf, ppt, pptx, xlr (type of spreadsheet), xls, xlsx and zip files. As a user, you may see these either as a selectable link, for example:
by clicking on the link you will notice that you get redirected to a new tab where the PDF (or any other of the supported material types) is now viewable and you are able to download.
Another way that you may see supplementary materials is via a direct iframe. Similar to videos, an iframe allows you to view the materials from the same screen without having to open a separate tab.
Your course administrator may also choose to include interactive media like images with hotspots, videos with hot spots, etc.
To learn more about the different types of interactive media and how to use them you can view examples here.
