Before using Institution Admin, make sure that a) an admin has created the institution in the Tenant Dashboard and b) the institution has an active contract. A contract is active when its End Date and Final Access Date (if set) are both in the future, and the contract has at least one seat available (or the contract has unlimited seats). If the institution does not have an active contract, you will be able to access Institution Admin, but you will not be able to take any actions within the dashboard. 

 

Accessing Institution Admin as a Tenant Admin 

 

1. Open the Tenant Dashboard and use the left-hand navigation to select the Institutions section. 

2. Select the Institution you want to manage users and groups for. The institution listing is in alphabetical order by default. If you don’t see the institution you want to work with, you can either use the Filters to search for it by name or sort the institution listing by one of the columns using the arrow icons next to the applicable column names. 

 

 

3. On the Institution details page, select the Jump to Institution Admin link. This will take you to the Institution Admin dashboard for this Institution. 

Accessing Institution Admin as a District Admin

 

1. Log in to the BenchPrep platform. If you don’t see the Institution Admin dashboard upon login, select the person icon in the upper left-hand corner of the site. Then, select District Admin from the drop-down. 

 

 

2. Select the Institution you want to manage users and groups for to launch the Institution Admin dashboard. 

 

Accessing Institution Admin as an Institution Admin

 

1. Log in to the BenchPrep platform. If you don’t see the Institution Admin dashboard upon login, select the person icon in the upper left-hand corner of the site. Then, select Institution Admin from the drop-down.
